HOW TO START AT CROSSFIT ST KILDA

You’re on the website so you’ve already achieved step 1. Congratulations! We welcome anyone, of any fitness level and any background to explore how we move, what we expect during a training session, and what the CFSTK community has to offer.

From here you have a few options:

 

The CFSTK Intro Program

Saturday 2hr session, 1 month main group, 4 small group sessions.

Book Now to complete our Introductory Program (below) in a small group of four or less.

Once you have completed your initial Introductory session, you have 1 months worth of CFSTK training including and (up to) 4 smaller group sessions.  During this time we encourage you to really get to know what we do and why we do it.

During the main group sessions you can meet the crew, experience training at different times of the day to find the time that works best for you, get a good feel for the value of training at CFSTK.

In the smaller groups you will work with Head Coach and Owner, Lockie. In these sessions we will take some more time to work on the Olympic Lifts and Gymnastics movements. These movements can be frustrating for new members so in these groups we will break the movements down further to allow you the member to better enjoy them when they come up in the main program.

At the end of this 4 weeks you will be more than ready to go, you will understand how to get the best out of each session, you will know the members and the CFSTK Value system and you will have set some goals for both in and our of the gym. and we can discuss the best membership and training package for you.

Our introduction to CrossFit StKilda is a two-hour workshop held on every second & fourth Saturday, from 1:30 to 3:30pm (If this is completely unachievable, let us know and we’ll work something out). Here you’ll learn essential CrossFit movements, sample a typical CrossFit workout of the day (WOD) learn relevant scaling options to complete a workout and get to know why we do what we do.

Free Trial at ANY Wednesday session

Drop in to any Wednesday session for a free trial. Wednesdays are typically low skill functional movements that are easy to learn as you go. So don’t stress! From here you can then complete the introductory session.

Experienced Crossfitters

Drop in to ay session during the week to try the space and get to know our coaches. If you love it (which you will!) sign up and join the crew.
